I'm NOT GUILTY!

Rock from the acclaimed group Heltah Skeltah has been found not guilty in an attempted murder case stemming from a shooting incident that left a pimp paralyzed. Dru Ha, the CEO of Duck Down Records, made the announcement.

“Exhale for Rock & congratulations to his attorney Kenneth Montgomery for the NOT GUILTY VERDICT! Incredible job,” Dru Ha said via Twitter. Rock was accused of being a moonlighting as a pimp at night and shooting a rival in January of 2008. He was eventually released on $125,000 bail and proclaimed his innocent in the alleged shooting, assault and the assertion that he is a pimp.

Despite the legal matters, Rock refused to sensationalize the case and released D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team) with Heltah Skeltah rap partner Sean “Ruck” Price. Rock was party to a recent celebration of Duck Down’s 15th Anniversary on Tuesday at BB King’s Club in New York. Look out for the new mixtape Rock has coming out with Suge White, “Rockin Out West.”

Rock or "Da Rockness Monstah" part of the Boot Camp Clik and member of the rap duo, Heltah Skeltah got arrested for attempted murder in the second degree. The individual shot supposedly is a Blood, allegedly from the west coast. The victim shot, a known pimp, was shot in the neck and paralyzed.( props to nah right for the info!)

Rocks lawyer , Kenneth J. Montgomery issued a statement:

“Jamal Bush a.k.a Roc from Helter Skelter was formally arraigned on attempted murder in the second degree and related charges. The Brooklyn District attorney’s office allege that Mr. Bush shot a known pimp and bloods gang member in the neck paralyzing him. They also allege that Mr. Bush is a pimp and this was a dispute over an alleged lady of the night. Mr. Bush categorically and unequivocally deny all charges. We eagerly look forward to trial and proving his innocence.” props to miss info
