Chi Town is Real Gangsta....

Knicks' Curry, wife robbed at gunpoint

Three gun-wielding crooks busted into the suburban Chicago home of the Knicks' Eddy Curry early Saturday, tying up and robbing the burly forward, his wife and an employee, according to cops and an NBA source.
The masked suspects found the 6-foot-11, 285-pound Curry and his wife, Korie, in the basement of their Burr Ridge home just after midnight, an NBA source said. It was unclear how they got into the house.
After using duct tape to restrain their victims, the robbers made off with cash and jewelry, leaving the Currys and their unidentified employee unharmed, cops said.
Curry, 24, who was traded to the Knicks by the Chicago Bulls in 2005, averaged 19.5 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks' last season.
The Chicago native did not comment following the robbery, but the Knicks released a brief statement.
"We are aware of the situation," the team said. "We are extremely happy that Eddy and his family are all safe. He told us it was a traumatic experience and we are aware the local authorities are handling it."
