Jadakiss Officially Signs With Roc-A-Fella

Yonkers rapper Jadakiss has officially signed a new deal with Ruff Ryders/Roc-A-Fella Records, it was announced today (November 15).The rapper will release his third untitled solo album under the terms of the new deal.The upcoming release from Jadakiss is his first album in four years and follows his 2004 platinum solo release, Kiss of Death.Jadakiss' first solo album, 2001's Kiss the Game Goodbye, was certified gold in 2001.. more here

Beanie Sigel Gets Star power on "The Solution"

Beanie Sigel told MTV News earlier this year that he was hoping to corral Kid Rock and Eminem onto his next LP, The Solution. Well, that hasn't happened quite yet, but Sig did stumble across an equally potent co-star for the album's first single: R. Kelly. The Pied Piper sings on a Solution record called "All of the Above," which the Broad Street Bully recently described as a club-friendly street banger in the same vein as Young Jeezy's "Go Getter." Kelly helped make that record a major hit earlier this year."Yeah, me and Kells," Beanie bragged on Monday via phone from Philadelphia. "It's crazy. 'All of the Above' [means] everything. Anything that people try to portray [us as], we all of the above."Sigel — who's still down with Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella — said since Kelly and Hov had a major falling out during the Best of Both Worlds tour a few years back and filed subsequent lawsuits against each other, he rolled the dice by asking Kelly to collaborate with him."I ain't even know if he was gonna do it," Beans explained. "I told him I got this record — 'cause you know the situation with Jay and him. ... I was like, 'If dude gets on this record, it'll be crazy.' So I sent it out to him, got the response he was gonna do it. [Kelly] knocked it out, he sent it back in like three days." More here
